Selby succeeds in Ilkley
Week two of the series moved across the Pennines from Manchester
to Ilkley. Adrian Grant was again top seed, with England
team-mate Daryl Selby topping the other group while last
week's winner Robbie Temple took a break.
There were no Day One upsets as last week, when the top seeds in
both groups failed to reach the final, with Grant and Selby both
winning twice on the opening day before clinching places in the
final with third wins on Tuesday morning - Grant didn't have it
all his own way though, having to twice come from behind to beat
Chris Truswell.
Neither did the world number 11 enjoy the final as Selby -
ranked #26 - took the first two games on extra points before
going on to win in four games in the longest match of the
tournament.
