Fri 20th April, Day THREE:
Round One (T)
The 7th

Lucas joins Camille in
round two
A busy
afternoon session at the El Gouna Squash Complex saw a couple of upset
results, most notable qualifier Lucas Serme's four-game win over
Diego Elias which sees him join sister Camille - who overcame
Dipika Karthik - in round two.
Two women's seeds fell - Omneya Abdel Kawy, whose pegged ranking
of 14 after the birth of her son saw her make a welcome return but it
was, in her own words, too soon as she lost out to Hong Kong's Joey
Chan - and Tesni Evans, losing out to the returning to form
Amanda Sobhy.
Omar
Mosaad faced Ahmed Hosny who got the 'lucky loser' spot after Paul
Coll withdrew ill, to become one of five Egyptians to progress alongside
Karim Abdel Gawad, Mohamed and Marwan Elshorbagy and
women's top seed Nour El Sherbini.
