After a junior career which saw him lift the British Junior Open title and finish World runner-up to Darwish, Gregory Gaultier joined Thierry Lincou to spearhead France's rise into the top echelons of world squash.

Gaultier finally overtook his compatriot as he became the first-ever French winner of the British Open in an all-French final, but fell agonisingly short in the  World Open finals on 2006 and 2007.

As well as being the reigning Super Series champion, Gaultier has won the European Individual championship five times in a row!
