Senior Mens Worlds Team Announced

The Senior Mens Team to take part in upcoming Worlds in Paderborn, Germany from August 21st - 27th has been announced as follows:

   1. Arthur Gaskin
   2. Derek Ryan
   3. Stevie Richardson
   4. Conor O Hare

Work is also being carried out on integrating new players to the Squad for future development. National Coach Hadrian Stiff commented

"The senior National squads now incorporate the youth potential. For me this is the beginning of re-vitalizing the National team with more young players. The next squad for the senior team for the worlds is 13/14th August.

"Conor O'shea, Sean Conroy, Theo Anderson, Rory Birtwhistle and Stuart Hadden will Join Arthur, Derek, Steve and Conor for their World team preparation. In addition, local players with join the training to compete and spar with the team.

I will be running Monthly squads for the top Irish juniors starting in September. This will help Me find potential senior players and ensure that improvements are made to build more good young players. More information on this will follow shortly".
