When Stefan Edberg comes to squash...

AS IT HAPPENED...

A good disputed match between Karim Darwish, former world number one, and Nicolas Mueller, who had some great scalps recently including Shabana...

Karim took the two first games, but the Swiss reassessed and took the 3rd rather comfortably. He nearly took the 4th as well, as he had a game ball, but Karim - staying focused at all times - was able to close it in four ...

Daryl Selby confirmed his 12th ranking yesterday by beating Thierry Lincou, ranked now 13th. And today, like in his match against the Frenchman, he started against Simon Rosner rather slowly .

He got his game sorted by the second game though, but the crucial game was actually the third, that Daryl took after very intense and beautiful rallies. In the fourth, Simon looked very tired, and a bit slow to move. The Englishman just went for the kill...

Tired from his battle against Campbell Grayson in the first round, Steve Coppinger was no match for a fresh and bouncy Peter Barker.

The Englishman just didn't take any prisoners, and finished the match in half and hour...

As for the last match, well, Greg Gaultier was in a devastating mood against Tom Richards, and even finished in an exhibition style from 9/1 in the third...
