Double AR
Double AR is an emerging manufacturer of strings for tennis and
squash settled in Biella, in the heart of the Italian
textile-producing area, famous worldwide for its expertise in
the processing of technical yarns.
In this particular context, Double AR was born in 2010 as a
specialized department of its parent company Finelvo Srl: a
Company with more than forty years of experience in the
processing of technical high-tech yarns.
Finelvo Srl - and consequently Double AR - is a solid industrial
complex that has more than 40 employees and a turnover of more
than 6 million euros/year.
Following its commitment to innovation and research, year by
year Finelvo Srl has created a in house - modern Department of
Research and Development equipped with the best machineries for
quality control. Quality confirmed by EU Certifications ISO 9001
and ISO 14001.
In 2010 Mr. Roberto Rossetti, owner of Finelvo, has decided to
apply his high-tech production techniques, which led Finelvo to
excel in the global automotive market, into the world of strings
for racket sports.
The result is a range of products with unique features on the
market.

Rotterdam Topsport
In the Netherlands and abroad, Rotterdam Topsport is known as a
facilitator and organiser of top-level sporting events. The
ATP-ranked ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament is a fine example of
this.
In addition to always guiding and supporting the annual events,
both financially and logistically, Rotterdam Topsport has on
numerous occasions acted as host city for a range of national
and international championships and events. In particularly the
last five years have been extremely successful for the Dutch
city of sports.
A small selection of events that took place in
Rotterdam since 2008: the Grand Dιpart of the Tour de France,
the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the World Table
Tennis Championships, the World Judo Championships, the
European
Dressage Championships and off course the World Squash
Championships (in 2011).
The end of 2010 marked the 20th anniversary of Rotterdam Topsport. After several years of development, they are
increasingly focusing on their role as network organisation in a
public-private partnership with the municipality of Rotterdam,
the (inter)national world of sports, the business sector, the
media, and the educational and scientific world, with the
objective to improve Rotterdam's top-level sports climate. In
the broadest sense of the word.
