Top seed Ashour pulls out ...
Despite pulling
up in his World Championship semi-final in Manchester, world
#1 Ramy Ashour was still, as of this morning, the top
seed for the Qatar Classic.
He posted this
on his facebook page:
Due to my injury I will decide
later on today with my doctors here in aspetar hospital
weather i will play qatar open which is in a couple of days
or not ...
#fingerscrossed
and this afternoon
confirmed that he won't be playing:
Just got out of the
hospital and the doctors advised me not to play qatar open
so that my hamstring injury wont get any worse...
lets thank the LORD for whatever he has for us...

The Classic Returns ...
The Qatar Classic returns to
the PSA World Series in 2013 for a week of spectacular
squash.
Since its inception in 2001 the Qatar Classic has
established itself as one of the squash calendar's premier
events, featuring the likes of the great Peter Nicol MBE
(2001 and 2002) and former World No. 1 Lee Beachill (2003)
amongst its champions.
Now, the world's top players prepare to battle it out for
the title with Gregory Gaultier, world #2, returning to
defend his crown in Doha.
Gaultier will face tough competition in this action packed
tournament, including world #1 Ramy Ashour.
