General
Information
Any costs due to extra services or accommodation must be
paid fully by individual player to the Tournament Organising
Committee prior to departure.
All players and officials must cover their own personal
insurance. Competitors enter and play in the Championship at
their own risk. Neither the ESF, VSF or host venues accept
any responsibility for injury arising from participation in
the Championship.
The ESF and Host Nation reserve the right to implement
compulsory dope testing for any players participating in the
Championship.
There shall be no doping before or during play in any
competition under ESF rules.
Any player refusing to undergo doping control and any person
found guilty of doping will be dealt with by the ESF, which
will take disciplinary action in accordance with its
constitutions/regulations.
All matches will be played ‘best of five’ according to the
WSF rules of squash, with the PAR 11 scoring system.
The official Championship ball is Dunlop Pro XX.
Players are obliged to take part in all functions, medal and
closing ceremonies.
We expect that each one of you will behave as perfect
ambassadors for your country. The Organizing Committee will
not tolerate any misconduct. All cases of misconduct will be
immediately handled by the Adjudicating Committee and action
will be taken such as being removed from the Tournament.
Hotel instructions: Caused damage must be dealt directly
with the hotel management.
By entering the Tournament you agree with the above
regulations.
REFEREEING
Linda Davie is the Tournament Referee and we expect that you
will support her team of officials throughout the
tournament. There will be official referees, but it is
possible that both players will be expected to referee the
following match on the same court. The loser will always be
the marker and the winner will always be the referee.

MEALS
Breakfast will be served in your hotel.
Lunch and dinner will be served in the "aula" of the Flemish
Squash Centre. The "aula" is situated in the main entrance
of the BLOSO centre on your left hand side. Lunch is
available from 12.00 till 15.00 and dinner from 18.00 till
22.00. Please respect following:
Bring your meal voucher
Please respect the opening hours of the restaurant to have
your meal.
Clear your table after your meal.
It is not allowed to take food (e.g. dessert) or drinks
outside the restaurant.
BEVERAGES
Drinks are available in the club. All drinks ordered at the
bar are to be paid for immediately.
CHANGING ROOMS
Changing room 14 will be used throughout the championship.
OTHER AREAS IN THE BLOSO CENTRE
The Bloso centre is a large complex and is also used by
other sportsmen & sportswomen and therefore we would
appreciate it if you would not disturb them in their
activities. Please stay out of the areas that are not
assigned to the squash event.
TRANSPORT
Players and officials will be picked up and dropped off at
Zaventem – Brussel Airport or Herentals Train Station upon
request. There will be a regular shuttle service between
hotel and venue (at the roundabout in front of the
building). See bus schedule. The times on the schedule are
departing times.
PRACTICE COURTS
Please check the availability at the Tournament Office.
PLAYERS’ BAG STORAGE
There is a special players’ bag area on court 5. Bags will
not be tolerated in the club. Bags that are lying around
will be moved to the allocated area by the organization.
RACKET STRINGING
There will be a daily stringing service. Stefan will be at
your disposal every day from 10.00 till 17.00. Your racket
is ready in 1 hour. The prices are:

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
Assistance will be on call throughout. Players who require
medical attention should contact the Tournament Office.
Arrangements for physiotherapy treatment can be made at the
Tournament Office. The physio will be in the venue
throughout the tournament. Price is € 15.00 for 30 min. :
First Aid Medical Assistance will be on site.
INTERVIEWS
Players / coaches / managers may be required in the
pressroom for interviews after the completion of their
matches. The Press Officer will contact you, and your
co-operation would be appreciated.
FUNCTIONS DURING EVENT
There will be some functions throughout the event.
Attendance is mandatory at all these functions.
There will be a reception on Wednesday September 4 at the
Squash Centre, beginning at 18.00
There will be a reception on Saturday September 7 at the
Squash Centre immediately after the prize giving after the
men’s final and before the Final Dinner.
The official dinner and players’ party will start at 20.00
in the Aula of the Flemish Squash Center. Dress is team
uniform (no tracksuit) or smart casual.
The Flemish Champions (teams and individuals) will join us
for the Final Dinner.
PRESS OFFICE
The press office will be located in the Squash Centre and
will be open for coaches, managers and players. There will
be internet access in the squash centre. It is not allowed
to use the telephone. The Press Office is open till 30
minutes after the last match.
DOPE TESTING
All players should be aware that a random dope testing could
occur during the tournament carried out by the Flemish
Government.

DEPARTURE
Players leaving, will be dropped off at Zaventem – Brussel
Airport or Herentals Railway Station on request. Those
players should confirm the Tournament Office about their
flight details as early as possible (but not later than 72
hours before they leave). If not confirmed there will be no
transportation arrangement!
Players / coaches / managers should ensure that all
outstanding charges are cleared at the hotel and the
organising committee prior to their departure.
