 The
Bloso Sports Centre is one of Belgium’s most popular
venues. Everyone, whether you are a local resident or a visitor,
is invited to use the Centre’s wide range of facilities for
healthy recreation, competition, or leisure activities.
Surrounded by grass and trees the athletes enjoy the peaceful
environment.
In 2003 the Flemish Squash Centre was officially opened,
becoming one of the best facilities of its kind in Europe. It
has 8 ASB courts with a glass back wall and one exhibition court
with enough space for the spectators.
It has been the home of different Belgian Junior Opens, Flemish
Junior Opens, European Championship U19 2004 and 2007 and the
World Championships girls 2005 and boys 2011, The European
Individual Championships in 2009.
The Chalet (near the tennis courts) offers lunches and snacks
and an assortment of sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, sweets… A
place to visit.
