The 6th Leg mens and women's finals were played in front of Mr. Mohd Nor (Deputy Director of Sports Development in Ministry of Youth & Sports), Mrs. Fazulia Zulkifli (Asst Director of Sports Development in Ministry of Youth & Sports), Mrs Hajjah Norihan (Headmaster of Presint 11(2) Secondary School) and Sportspin Event’s and Athlete Management Sdn Bhd Chief Director Mr. Mohd Azlan Iskandar.

In the men’s finals, between Elvinn Keo ranked 97 in the world against ex-player Timothy Arnold, winner of the last SSJM in Putrajaya turned out to be a jaw breaking match.

Timothy played well in the first game outplaying Elvinn and took the first game 11-3, while Elvinn fought back and came back to take Tim out in the second game 11-7. Tim took the 3rd game back 11-7 while Elvinn came back strongly and taking the 4th game 11-8. Both players seemed to be exhausted at this time while old timer Tim was lying on the ground after the end of the 4th game.

In the 5th game it was very close up to 5-5 and the more experienced Timothy changed his game plan and varied the pace of the game causing the very attacking Elvinn to stumble upon a few unforced errors also on one of the occasions hitting Timothy for the 3rd time, only to be penalised a conduct stroke against Elvinn and Timothy took advantage of Elvinn’s anger and distraction and eventually went on to take the game 11-5.

In the women's draw Noor Shadira from ATM has no problem at all to win her 2nd title in a row after 5th leg in Kelantan and when she easily beat Nurdiana Laili from Melaka 3-0 although in the 2nd set Nurdiana give a good fight before losing the game by 10-12.
