The first leg was held at Rantau Petronas Golf And Country Club (KGRP) from the 15th to 17th of February 2013.

The Mens Draw had 32 players and the top seed for the event was world no.30 Mohd Nafiizwan. The full 16 womens draw was headed by world no.41 Siti Munirah Jusoh.

The First leg was officiated by the Minister Of Youth And Sports Dato Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, who is also a big fan of the sports and supports the OLYMPIC BID 100%.
