Teenage Egyptian
Habiba Mohamed became the youngest-ever winner of a
WSA event when she downed Hong Kong's Tong Tsz-Wing, the
third seed, in the final of the Malaysian Tour Grand Finals
in KL - adding to her earlier defeats of the fourth and
top-seeded players in the draw.
Habiba, the reigning British Junior Open U15 Champion,
having won the U13 title twice, thus
becomes the youngest-ever winner of a WSA title at just 14,
taking over from none other than Nour El Sherbini.
Meanwhile the men's title was taken by Nafiizwan Adnan with
a straight games win over Timothy Arnold.
