Kempsell and Hammamy
champions in Geneva

With most of the top seeds falling by the wayside on Saturday, both finals in Geneve were unexpected affairs.

In the women's final 14-year-old Egyptian Hania El Hammamy completed her run from qualifying to beat Fiona Moverley, the eighth seed, in straight games. The men's final went to four games with Scotland's third-seeded Dougie Kempsell taking the title over Mark Fuller.

El Hammamy becomes the first player born this Millennium to win a WSA tournament, clinching her maiden title without dropping a game, and also becoming the second youngest women's title winner of all-time.

Born in September 2000, she misses out on becoming the youngest ever WSA Tour title winner by just a month. Egyptian compatriot Habiba Mohamed was 14 years and 5 months old when she set the record in November 2013 in winning the Malaysian Tour Grand Final.
