Well, that's what I call a perfect presentation for a tournament... It's simple, effective, the message is clear... Loved every second of it. the Perfect Presentation

"I didn't ask for more than what the others are getting, on the contrary, I agreed to play for half the amount my teams are getting, to say that i asked for too much IS A LIE.
"I have been informed that a LAW has been issued that Egyptian players living abroad are not to be funded unless they are physically in Egypt.
"I know how much my team mates are getting, and I already had agreed with 50% of that, I don't think that was asking too much...
But now after that absurd attack on my behalf in the media, I find it very disappointing and quite discouraging to join my team in the tournament this year "
 |
I received a call from Shabana last night. He was very sad because of the misunderstanding between him and the press in Egypt as he was out since revolution and didn't make the victorious world cup team.
But this always happens with legends for example Messy has a misunderstanding with the press in Argentina. This happens with legends and big stars and as you know Shabana is our hero in Egypt.
The Egyptian squash federation and Ministry of sport here in Egypt have a huge respect for Shabana. Even I as manager of Egyptian team have a lot of respect for Shabana and what all he has done for Egypt and squash all round the world.
I am sure Shabana will play for Egypt as he in the Captain of the Egyptian National team. We are defending champions and we need Shabana to help us defend our title.
I don't think money is a big issue for Shabana and our federation, but sometimes there are some rules wich must be followed. I am sure that Shabana loves Egypt and it is also his dream to hold the trophy for the third time.
Personally Shabana is like my young brother and I need him in the team. We have been very successful together and will love to continue our success.
I am sure once every settles he will play for Egypt and carry the Egyptian flag.
