Schoor outlasts Harrity for title
Top seeds Todd Harrity
and Jens Schoor contested the final
in Minneapolis, but it was the German who saved his best squash
until the end of the tournament to take the title.
Schoor won the first two games fairly easy and looked on his way to
winning in three, but Harrity came back from 9-6 down to win the
third and then took the fourth 11-5.
The deciding game went to 8-all when Schoor hit two great winners,
then Harrity hit the match ball in the tin on his backhand. |
