Nick Matthew will be making his debut with Hallamshire at the 5Nations Squash Championships in Milan. To get to know more about Nick as a person, likes and dislikes we sent him nose-to-nose with Dunc.

Who in the squash world doesn't know Nick Matthew, Nick won the British National Championship title in 2006 then in 2007 and 2008 due to injury couldn't defend his title but in 2009 he became British Champion again.

In 2006 after becoming British Champion Nick became the first home-grown English player to win the British Open men's title since 1939, coming back from 0-4 down in the fifth game of the final.

With these credentials maybe the rest of the world's sporting public should get to know him as well.

He is a person who takes the positive out of every match, looks ahead, knows his strengths and weaknesses and does it all in a very humble fashion, would like to be a circle if he could be a shape, a lion if he could be an animal, born under the zodiac sign Leo - hence the Lion - always pops his left shoe on first, likes to listen to The Kings of Leon, speaks, apart from English, no other language except fluent Yorkshire(!), is short sighted, always has a bottle of water within reach and claims he drinks like a fish - which caused a discussion if fishes drink water or not - doesn't believe a man would ever have to fake an orgasm, one day would like to swim the English channel faster than I did, and like most squash players, drives very fast ................
