Liberty
Bell Open 2015
07-11 Jan, Berwyn, Usa, $5k |
11-Jan, Final:
Millie takes Liberty Bell title
After a series of upsets in the first WSA event of 2015, it was
sixth and eighth seeds Millie Tomlinson and Maria Toor Pakay who
contested the final of the Liberty Bell Open at Berwyn Squash &
Fitness.
Millie, the reigning world university champion, set out her stall to
make Maria, the Canada-based Pakistani, do the running, and despite
a few let situations managed to do that while making very few errors
herself.
Millie recovered from losing the first game, and after taking the
lead in a particularly hard third Maria lost energy as Millie
wrapped up the title, her second WSA crown.
