Day Three:
Frost grabs Gib title
Denmark's second seed
Kristian Frost survived a marathon semi-final before going on to
claim the Gibraltar Ooen title at the end of Day Three of the $5k
event..
 Frost
took 100 minutes to overcome third seed Jan Koukal in a four-game
semi-final, and in the final he met Spanish fourth seed Alejandro
Garbi, who had beaten top seed Piedro Schweertman in four games
in the earlier semi-final.
Despite spending almost twice as long on court as his opponent,
Frost was able to recover to take the final in straight games, his
fourth PSA title win in 2015.
26-Jun Day Two:
Seeds through to semis
Two rounds of play on the second day in
Gibraltar, and it was the seeds all the way as all eight seeds won
their morning matches, followed by the top four of Piedro
Schweertman, Kristian Frost, Jan Koukal and Alejandro Garbi
winning through to Saturday's semis.
25-Jun Day One:
Qualifying complete on the Rock
Day One of the Gibraltar Open saw two
rounds of qualifying with a host of local players competing, but
none managing to progress to the main draw, although Phil Ashworth
put up a brave fight in taking Paul Rawden to five games in round
one.
Rawden lost out to David Haley in the finals, and the Welshman is
joined by two Englishmen and an American in the main draw.
