Parker is the 2015 Ciutat de
Barcelona champion after the fourth seed beat fellow Englishman
Chris Fuller, the #3 seed, 11-7, 11-2, 7-11, 11-8 in the final.
The win marks the reigning European U19 champion's first PSA title,
having reached the final in four of his last five events!

All-English final in Barcelona
 Hopes of
an all-Spanish final were kept alive in
Barcelona after Hugo Varela, the eighth seed, beat top seed
Geoffrey Dmont in straight games in the first quarter-final.
In the bottom half of the draw unseeded Iker Pajares upset
second seed Alejandro Garbi in an all-Spanish encounter.
 Varela then met third seed Chris Fuller while
Pajares faced George Parker, the fourth
seed in the semi-finals and it was the Englishmen who triumphed,
both winning in four after losing the first game, to deny the home
crowd.

Zunzunzgui zaps into quarters
Just two upsets in the first round in Barcelona, as Spanish
qualifier Aitor Zunzunegui came from two-one down to beat
seventh seed Bapriste Masotti.
There's home interest in three of the quarter-final with Zunzunegiu
taking on fourth seed George Parker, Hugo Varela
facing top seed Geoffrey Demont, and second seed Alejandro
Garbi meeting compatriot Iker Pajares, who beat fifth
seede Pakistani Muhammad Saqib Yousaf in four.
