Favourites through to finals
Semi-finals day in Poland,
and it will be an all-French women's and all-German men's
final ! Top seeds US Creteil and defending champions
Mulhouse will contest the women's final while top
seeds Paderborn will face defending champions
Worms in a repeat men's final.
Both women's matches were fairly straightforward affairs, as
was Paderborn's win over Edgbaston. The final match between
Worms and Mulhouse looked on paper to be very close, but
Greg Marche's upset win over world #10 Mathieu Castagnet in
the second tie put Worms firmly in charge and it was David
Palmer who finished it off for Worms.
