Scottish National League Playoff Finals
Sat 12th April, Aberdeen SRC |
Newlands set to take on
Aberdeen on home turf
Preview from Alistair Gorrie
The
2007/08 National Squash League will come to a dramatic climax on
Saturday 12th April at Aberdeen SRC.
Four teams - Aberdeen (ASRC), Newlands (Glasgow), Western and Bridge
of Allan - will battle it out on the day in the hope of being
crowned National Champions. ASRC and Newlands will almost certainly
contest the final which will kick off at 5.00pm. The line-ups are as
follows:
ASRC I - Alex Gough (World No.22), Daryl Selby (World No.34),
Simon Parke (former World No.3) & Lisa Aitken (Grampian's very own
World No.166)
NEWLANDS - Derek Ryan (former World No.7), Hadrian Stiff
(England No.14), Peter Marshall (the double-handed former World
No.2) and Kasey Brown (World No.15)
From the line-ups it is clear to see this is not one to be missed
out on! It is not very often we up in Grampian get the chance to
witness such great players in action so please take this opportunity
to do so. Whether you are a member or not there is no charge, yes
that's right NO charge, to get in and watch this spectacle!
All we really ask of you is come along and support the day. Food
will be served throughout the day and obviously drinks will as well.
Bring along as many people as you like - friends, family, wives,
husbands, work colleagues, etc.
We at ASRC very much look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 12th
April.
