  TODAY at the CASA Juniors

Thu 17th, Day FIVE

The team event continues ...

Day 5 of the Junior CASA 2014 championships took place today, continuing in the group stages of the team event from yesterday.

The Guyana boys team and Jamaica boys team finished the day on top of their groups. Following closely behind were Trinidad & Tobago in one group and Barbados in the other. Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and OECS will fight it out for 5th – 7th in the plate.

In the girls team event there was a major upset when Trinidad & Tobago took out former title holders Guyana in a closely contested match 3-2. In the other group Jamaica girls followed after their boys team by finishing top of their group with Barbados finishing second. Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and OECS will play off for 5th – 7th.

Semifinals day should bring some tight matches along with a noisy atmosphere as always here at the BSRA, we wish all the teams the best of luck.
