The position – which would be a nine month contract annually,
would ideally suit a playing professional who is seeking to
find an income that will allow them to continue building their
position in the world rankings and who is interested in
developing their business skills as a Squash professional,
with the future in mind.
The expected income (for nine months) would be in the $30
-35,000 range (basic monthly salary plus lesson, event
management, stringing and exhibition income).
The professional would be expected to fulfill all the
requirements of a growing squash program including: Coaching,
stringing, equipment sales, tournament direction and
administration, partner matching for clients, general program
administration etc.
The professional would also be required to drive and regularly
work at other programs under our direction in the Carolinas.
This would hopefully be a long term position for someone
seeking to establish themselves in the profession, while still
training and playing at the professional level, in a beautiful
and inexpensive place to live. This is an opportunity for
someone who is willing to work hard, but who likes to enjoy
life to the full.
