16-Apr, Final:
Kanzy takes the title in Virginia

Top seed Kanzy El Dafrawy came  through a four game final against second seed Misaki Kobayashi in Richmond to claim her third career PSA title.

The first game was evenly matched with both players volleying a lot and dropping from every corner of the court. Defrawy managed to take the first game. In the second game Kobayashi was very dominate with her volley boast shot and had Defrawy diving and forced a lot of errors securing a very close win.

In the third game Dafrawy played a fast paced game got plenty of errors from Kobayashi. The fourth game was a battle with both players diving from every corner of the court but the determined Dafrawy closed the game up after 55 minutes of action.

Top seeds through to final

Kanzy El Defrawy 3-0 Hana Ramadan

Top seed Defrawy came out determined and accurate with every shot she hit, taking the first game in 10 minutes.

That did not stop the motivated Ramadan who settled down in the second and third game by pushing Defrawy in the back court. Defrawy used her experience over the up and coming Ramadan to close up the last two tight games.

Misaki Kobayashi 3-0 Nouran El Torky

In the first game both players were trying to figure out each other's game and the second seed Kobayashi prevailed.

In the second and third games Kobayashi dominated the court by her boasts and shots which did not allow the number three seed El Torky in the match.

14-Apr, Quarters:
Hana joins top three seeds in semis

Kanzy El Defrawy 3-0 Marie Stephan

The number one seed Defrawy looked very confident and came out very aggressive and eased her way through.

Hana Ramadan  3-0  Sachika Balvani

Ramadan continues her dominance has she beat Balvani in three straight games with a lot of attacking in the front court.

Nouran El Torky 3-0 Anna Kimberley

This game started with both players being very aggressive taking the ball early and looking for volleys. Torky continued on with her aggressive play whilst Kimberley started making a lot of unforced errors.

Misaki Kobayashi 3-1 Georgina Stoker

Kobayashi came out shooting and took the first game easily but Stoker came back controlling the rallies in the second game and managed to even it up. Kobayashi managed to slow down the pace and controlled the center of the court and forced Stoker to make errors.
