Qualifying trio advance in Kriens

Round one of the latest Squash Festival event in Kriens produced a trio of upsets as qualifiers Andres Duany, Victor Crouin and Dimitri Steinmann all beat seeded opponents to advance to the quarter-finals.

Andres Duany:
It was a tough one today but Im happy I managed to get a win. Tomorrow I'll be playing a great friend so looking forward to it. It has been a wonderful time here in Switzerland so I want to thank Pilz and Remo for all the hard work organizing this squash festival and thanks to Beni and all the guys for being great hosts.

Victor Crouin:
Huge performance today for me beating the number 90 in the world in 5 tough games ! Maybe, a ankle injury occured in the second game, so I hope it's not very serious for him... Thanks to Enzo for coaching me because it really helped me and I look forward to play and have my revenge against Martin Svec tomorrow !

Dimitri Steinmann:
I'm very pleased with my performance today. I felt that he still suffers of his backinjury and he always surpised me at the start of the games. Looking forward to my match tomorrow against Josh Larkin.
