Tamika and Zac keep runs going in
Sydney
A large crowd witnessed two wonderful finals at the Fujitsu
NSW Open today.
First up was the Womens match. Tamika Saxby, chasing her
thirdrd consecutive PSA Australian Tour title, began as she
intended to finish, fast and furious. Her length, boasts and
drops were perfectly executed. Lisa Camilleri played very well
but had no answer for what Tamika was doing with the racquet and
ball.
The men's final was a display of good length, drops and amazing
reaching for the ball. While qualifier Aaron Frankcomb has
experience on his side, the younger Zac Alexander had an
answer for everything Aaron tried as he maintained his
impressive run to collect a sixth PSA title in a row.
It was a wonderful end to a wonderful four days of squash on the
northern beaches of Sydney (and yes there is an ocean view from
the balcony!).
