12-Mar, Semis:
Down to the final in Winnipeg

The final of the Manitoba Open will see third-seeded Kiwi Campbell Grayson face Nathan Lake, the seventh-seeded Englishman.

Grayson benifitted from the retirement of Chris Hanson towards the end of the second game of their sei-final while Lake continued his impressive form with a straight-game win over Egyptian second seed Karim Ali Fathi.

11-Mar,Quarters:
Canadians bow out in quarters

Four tough quarter-finals in Winnipeg saw two upsets and the demise of the top seed and both home players.

American sixth seed Chris Hanson came from two games down to beat top-seeded Mexican Alfredo Avila, setting up a semi-final with Kiwi Campbell Grayson, who spoiled hopes of an all-American matchup as he beat Chris Gordon in four games.

Canadians Shawn Delierre and Andrew Schnell both lost out in five games - Delierre losing a see-saw encounter with English seventh seed Nathan Lake, Schnell failing to hold on to a two-game lead over second seeded Egyptian Karim Ali Fathi.

10-Mar, Round One:
Delierre and Schnell target home win

Round one of the Manitoba Open in Winnipeg saw all eight seeds progress to the quarter-finals.

Home hopes are carries by fourth seed Shawn Delierre and eighth seed Andrew Schnell, winner of two PSA titles in the last couple of weeks.

Delierre, having beaten qualifier Babatunde Ajagbe, faces Englishman Nathan Lake for a place in the semi-finals while Schnell, who needed five games to beat Kiwi Martin Knight, meetys Egypt's second seeded Karim Ali Fathi.

Top seed Alfredo Avila won his all-Mexican matchup with Eric Galvez and now faces the USA's Chris Hanson, while the remaining quarter-final will see Chris Gordon take on Campbell Grayson.
