three Malaysian Tour titles in a row as she beat top seed

Favourites through to finals
No upsets in the semi-finals as to
seeds Rex Hedrick and Vanessa Chu made it through to the
finals.
Hedrick beat Carlos Cornes in four games and now meets second
seed Piedro Schweertman, who came from 1-2 down to beat
Malaysia's Elvinn Keo.
Chu will face in-form Siva Subramanian, gunning for her
third title in a row after beating qualifier Satomi Watanabe in
straight games.
20-Apr, Quarters:
Quartet of Malaysians make the semis
It was the end of the road for Eain Yow Ng in the
quarter-finals in KL as the youngster was beaten in four games
by top seed Rex Hedrick of Australia, but four Malaysians
did make it through to the semis.
In the men's draw Elvinn Keo carries home hopes after a
win over fifth-seeded Chi Him Wong, and he faces second seed
Piedro Schweertman, the Dutchman beating qualifier Iker
Pajares in five while Hedrick meets Carlos Cornes who
beat fellow Spaniard Bernat Jaume.
In the women's draw home favourites Vanessa Chu and
Siva Subramanian, seeded one and three, are through, as
is Zoe Foo who edged out fourth seed Lakeesha Rarere
17/15 in the fifth. A bigger upset came when teenage Japanese
qualifier Satomi Watanabe beat second seed Lotte Eriksen
in straight games.
19-Apr, Round One:
No stopping Ng in KL
Fresh from winning his first PSA title in last week's Leg II sat
the Royal Laker Club, Malaysia's top junior is at it again at
the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil, teenage wildcard
Eain Yow Ng coming through a five-setter to defeat 8th seed
Sanjay Singh.
That was one of three upsets in the men's first round, while
three seeds also fell in the women's draw.
