Five for Annie and a first for Yip
The 2016 Hong Kong Squash Championships concluded with Yip
Tsz Fung and Annie Au becoming the new champions in
fron to a packed crowd at Hong Kong Squash Centre.
 Beating
Max Lee in five intense games, Yip Tsz Fung captured his first
ever HK title. Yip took the first two games 11-9, 11-9, but HK
#1 Max fought back hard to level up at two games all.
Yip stayed determined in the fifth to finally take the victory
11-9, 11-9, 13-15, 4-11, 11-4.
 The
women’s final was between Annie Au and Joey Chan.
Though Joey to pull a game back after Annie had taken the first
two, Annie managed to hold on and win 11-6, 11-6, 8-11, 11-8 to
claim her fifth champion title.
All the players made their most efforts to demonstrate a
wonderful squash.
Liu Tsz Ling and Wong Chi Him claimed the third place medals.
Wong Chi Him came back to beat Tang Ming Hong in a tough see-saw
game while Liu Tsz Ling beat Ho Tze Lok in four games.
