Egyptian trio through to semis as top seed Annie meets
surprise Sivasangari
The semi-finals of the Pakistan Open
will be contested by the top seeds after straight game wins from
Egyptian trop of Marwan Elshorbagy, Zahed Mohamed
and Mohamed Abouelghar. Top seed Elshorbagy faces Mohamed
while Abouelghar meets Hong Kong's fourth seed Leo Au,
who prevailed over compatriot Max Lee in five games.
Leo's sister Annie, the women's top seed, is through to
the final after coming from one-two down to deny Rowan Elaraby,
wher she meets surprise package Sivasangari Subramaniam,
the unseeded Malaysion youngster who produced another upset as
she beat Rachael Grinham in straight games.,
