October 2013:
Sherbini opens new Alexandria courts
Last week world #13 Nour el Sherbini opened two Squash Courts located on the north coast of Alexandria, Egypt, in a private complex named Sedra.

The Compound is a project under el Orouba misr Construction and development company which is currently building several new complexes for people to live in on the outskirts of the city of Alexandria.

With their support to sport they tend to choose the best people to present them at each sport as part of a service they provide for the people living in their compound.

As seeing Nour being one of the rising Star in Alexandria Egypt with an inspiration story for the youngsters that follow her they decided to name the two courts after her and a place were she can train and people can watch her to learn from her sessions.

The whole event was organised by Omar el Sherbini and his team, Nour's current manager, and Dr Mostafa Saber from Sedra Compound.

At the closing speech Nour received the company award of sports from Mr Hazem el Deeb CEO of Orouba misr company and she added:

"It's a great honour to be here among all of you am really happy to see more squash courts being built all over Egypt to make more people know about our amazing sport.

"I love the courts they are professionally made and the idea it self of building new courts in a private compound on the beach to make people play squash even on their vacations is really great. A special thanks for everyone who organised this opening and Mr Hazem el Deeb for hosting me today and supporting Squash at his compounds thanks everyone.

"When Omar came to me with the Idea I thought its really great to make Squash reach more places in Egypt not just in main Cities. It was also great as part of helping our Campaign to Support Women Squash and make more girls play the sport, as you can see in the photos most of them are girls which is what I was hoping to see and I am glad it happened. From my Side I believe it was a great event and a mutual benefit for both of us

The Opening was attended by hundreds of kids who rushed to Nour after the opening for some autograph signing.

On the VIP seats was Mr Hazem el Deeb CEO of Orouba misr,Mr Atef el Sherbini Nour's father, Mr Ahmed el Mahdy Sales & Marketing Director of Orouba misr and Mr Karim el Massry Commercial Director of of the Company
