Just a few days after beating Shahier Razik in the final of the
KIG Open in Los Angeles, Egypt's Omar Mosaad repeated the
trick at the St Louis Racquet Club, although this time it took him
five games and over two hours to see off the Canadian's challenge.
Mike Puertas' final summary:
First game: 11-4 Mosaad dominating Razik with an impressive display
of attacking power squash.
Second game: 11-8 Razik slowing down the game and controlling the
backhand length, clearing becoming a problem.
Third game: 11-9 Mosaad … 1 hour and 25mins into the match. Brutal
game that lasted 40 minutes! No sign of tiredness.
Fourth game: 11-8 Razik ... 1 hour and 45mins in. A few unforced
errors from Mosaad making the difference.
Fifth Game: 11-5 Mosaad moved forward and took control of the T
attacking every volley he could.
