NSA Open 2013
14-19 Apr, Pretoria, South Africa, $5k

19-Apr, Finals:

Dessouky and Waters take the titles in Pretoria

Fares Dessouki bt Raphael Kandra in epic five set final , playing in front of a once again capacity crowd with a live feed to the lounge area at Pretoria country Club.

The women’s final was contested between Siyoli Waters of South Africa and Kylie Lindsay  of New Zealand, Siyoli ran out winning 3/0.

Thanks to all the players , Sponsors and hosts who were involved in the event. We look forward to hosting this event in 2014.

18-Apr, Semis:

Steve Doeg reports

An evening of hard fast squash with 3 of the four winners going 0-2 down and recovering to win in five games.

South African Siyoli Waters seeded no 2 can hopefully take advantage of her second final in as many weeks to claim the NSA title which was won by Lauren Siddall last year.

The Men's final is surely going to be a tough contest with two players who can retrieve almost anything and with another capacity crowd Pretoria Country Club will be a buzz of excitement.

Round One in Pretoria

Kelvin Ndhlovu had an amazing match against a some will say a lethargic Abouelghar moving well and playing percentage squash keeping mistakes to a minimum.

Michael Wood after 4 tough games of diving all over the court and having to exit the court at 7/8 to stop the bleeding from a dive that a swimmer would have been proud of , came back to win 11/9.

Some great squash at Pretoria Country Club was witnessed and enjoyed by a capacity crowd who are looking forward to the second round tomorrow evening.

FROGS' TALK

[6] Geoffrey Demont 3-0 Jérôme Dadot  11/6, 11/6, 11/3

Salut frambi,
