TZAMALOUKAS SQUASH ACADEMY LAUNCHES IN MYKONOS
After the successful PETROS TZAMALOUKAS SQUASH ACADEMY in
Athens Lawn Tennis and Squash club in Zapion ,the centre of
the city, the academy moves to the beautiful and
cosmopolitan island of Mykonos for the summer, an
island which is one of the top worldwide destinations for
holidays and well known for the amazing beaches and
nightlife.

Tzamaloukas was Greek champion with a career best PSA world
ranking 105 ,winner of many international tournaments and
played for Greek national team at one world and 16 European
team champs. With 10 years' coaching experience now aged 35
his aim is to create the next Greek champion and make people
meet and enjoy this wonderful sport , which is known as one
of the healthiest sports and activities.
Now Mykonos is hoping to be also ‘’the place’’ for squash
along with leisure and fun. The base of squash academy will
be the award-winning KIVOTOS HOTEL situated in Ornos
bay and its fantastic ASB glass back court with 60 people
seating capacity.
A squash open tournament was held back in 2002 with a big
success and for this summer it is scheduled the KIVOTOS
HOTEL MYKONOS OPEN 18-20 June. The tournament is open to
everyone and there will be participants from all over Greece
and hopefully from abroad, with special accommodation
packages available.
The aim is for Mykonos and Kivotos Hotel to become also a
squash destination for squash club’s group holidays as also
for individual squash players and a place for training for
top pro players. There will be many squash activities during
the summer season like small tournaments and some top pro
players will travel from abroad to meet squash enthusiasts.
