It could not have been a better
final with a packed gallery all willing local pro Georgina Stoker
to pull out a win, however Danielle Letourneau had other
thoughts.
Amazing athleticism and skill form both players, and in the end
Danielle sighed relief when Gina dropped into the tin for the match,
13/15, 11/4, 11/8, 11/13, 11/9 to claim her first PSA title.
Thank you to all the players for persevering in the snow.
Both top seeds drop in a
chaotic snow filled weekend
Local Pro Gina Stoker pleased the crowd with a good win
over Mexican Diana Garcia, following up her afternoon voctory over
second seed Cyrielle Peltier.
Danielle Letourneau (from
Calgary, Canada)p roved the snow only made her play better -
having taken out top seed Millie Tomlinson in the afternoon Danielle
beat Thaisa Serafini in a fun semi final.
Thank you to the women Prefessionals for their cooperation in some
of the rescheduling due to snow conditions
