At
the just concluded Italian Nationals, Manuela Manetta
entered the record books as she claimed her eighth
national title, beating national team-mate Sonia
Pasteris 3/0 in the final, thus equalling the record set by
Mark Nerozzi and Rocca Simone.
Jose Facchini claimed the men's title with a 3/0 win
over Andrea Torricini in the final.
