Wolverhampton selected to host prestigious
Inter County final
Wolverhampton Lawn Tennis & Squash Club have been selected
to host the finals of the Harris Inter County Championships
by England Squash & Racketball, governing body for squash
and racketball.
The Harris Inter County Championships are the largest team
squash event in the world, with more than 2000 players and
all 39 English counties taking part in a season that runs
from September through to May.
Wolverhampton LTSC have been selected to host the
prestigious finals of the senior men’s and women’s
categories, which for the first time have been scheduled
over one weekend to allow the best players in the country to
represent their county.
The event will take place over the weekend of May 2/3, with
hundreds of players, spectators and officials descending
upon Wolverhampton to find out who will be crowned Inter
County Champions. Wolverhampton LTSC have a rich history of
hosting top class squash events, including the annual PSA
Wolverhampton Open which this year will place from 1-6
September.

Wolverhampton. The event also gives squash enthusiasts in
the area another chance to see top class squash ahead of the
upcoming PSA Wolverhampton Open.”
