Champions' Cup heads for Yorkshire
The always popular European Club Championships - nowadays
termed the "European Champions' Cup" - comes to the UK for
the first time in September, with Pontefract Squash Club set
to host the 23rd edition of the event.
The event is open to National Club Champions (or
runners-up), or nominated clubs where no national
championship exists.
The competition runs for three days with a maximum of 16
men's and 16 women's teams competing. Of course, the squash
is serious, but so is the social side!
Defending men's champions are Scotland's Aberdeen SRC, while
hosts Pontefract are the reigning women's champions.
It's close to deadline day for entries, so any clubs wishing
to be considered should get in touch with Pontefract ASAP
