No surprises in the finals. England won in both U-15 and U-17. The English were too strong for the Czech and Scottish teams, congratulations to them.

Everything went fine in the closing ceremony. The Czech Republic received the European Federation flag as hosts for the next year's junior championships.

“I would like to thank all the staff of this tournament. It was a great experience to be here and I can probably affirm that this was one of the best European Junior Teams Championships I participate as a coach.

"The people involved was nice and competent. The atmosphere in the camping was pleasant and juniors loved that.

"I can only hope to come again to Girona and enjoy again the Spanish hospitality”

The biggest upset:
Also it was the first time in history that Scotland reaches the U-17 final.

“I am more excited than my players are” says Claire Kidd.

"The tournament atmosphere and hospitality has been excellent for all the Welsh team. Tino, David and Bruno are great hosts and no problem is too much trouble.

"The camp life brings all countries together and this is a fantastic way for our players to mix with the best of Europe."
