A day trip with a difference during the Asian Juniors
in Amman ... Cyrus Poncha reports
We
were trying to drown the losers in the dead sea but were not
successful!
It was a hot and sunny day when more than 200 participants
of the Asian Junior Individual Championships raided the
shores of the dead sea. It was indeed a sight to behold as
players, parents & officials relished the sensational
feeling of effortlessly floating in water.
Many amongst the crowd also took the opportunity to splash
the dead sea black mud all over their body to improve their
complexion. Whether they were successful I am not sure....we
will have to check.
It
was very well organised by the hosts who ensured we had had
a day off to spend and enjoy this unique experience.
