For Toronto Title
England's Victoria Lust survived a titanic battle with Nicolette
Fernandes of Guyana in the final of the Alicia Hagedorn Open to win
the title at the Mayfair Lakeshore Racquet & Fitness Club in
Toronto.
Only two weeks after 22-year-old Lust beat her 27-year-old opponent
3-2 in the quarter-finals of the Racquet Club Invitational in St
Louis, the top seed emerged victorious in Toronto by an almost
identical 11-4, 7-11, 6-11, 12-10, 11-7 scoreline to claim her
latest title.
The win marks the British U23 champion from Cheltenham's second
WISPA trophy success of the year - and the fourth of her career.
